Job summary

InterContinental Perth City Centre is seeking a Duty Manager to join our luxury, internationally minded team. You will report to the Reception Manager and oversee guest service and hotel operations to ensure prompt, personalized attention across the property.

You will respond to guest needs, resolve issues, supervise colleagues, run daily briefings, and contribute to ongoing team development while maintaining high service standards in a 240-room luxury environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year’s supervisory/leadership experience in Hospitality.
• Strong customer service mindset with a passion for guest experience.
• Knowledge of Opera or similar PMS is required.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest needs and resolve issues promptly.
• Supervise and support team during busy periods; greet and bid farewell to guests.
• Lead daily briefings and contribute to team meetings.
• Train and develop colleagues to maintain service standards.
• Ensure safety and security of guests; coordinate with leadership in emergencies.
