Job summary

Crystalbrook Aurora, Canberra's newest five‑star hotel, seeks a commercially driven Business Development Manager to build corporate and government partnerships and drive revenue from day one.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will identify opportunities, convert them into bookings and manage key accounts, while traveling for client engagements and industry events. A premium brand ambassador, you will collaborate across departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and converting opportunities in corporate or government sectors.
• Strong ability to negotiate and close profitable revenue opportunities.
• Proven track record in hotels, tourism or hospitality sales.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities with corporate and government clients.
• Conduct proactive sales calls, face-to-face appointments and industry networking.
• Manage customer relationships to drive repeat business and client entertainment.
• Represent Crystalbrook Aurora at trade shows and travel as required.
• Collaborate with Sales, Revenue, Marketing and hotel operations to deliver results.
