Job summary

Park Hyatt Sydney is seeking a Guest Services Associate to facilitate efficient communications for guests and staff, both in-house and externally. You will operate switchboard consoles, paging systems, and related computer equipment, logging requests and ensuring timely follow-up.

You will provide wake-up calls, handle guest inquiries with courtesy, assist with emergency procedures, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel products and services.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in a hotel of comparable standards is desired
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Proficient with basic computer programs and hotel systems

Responsibilities

• Log requests and ensure follow-up within 15 minutes
• Operate switchboard consoles, paging system, and associated equipment
• Handle guest wake-up calls accurately
• Be conversant in hotel products and services to answer guest inquiries
• Follow emergency procedures calmly and discreetly
