Job summary

Salter Brothers Hospitality – Montville QLD is seeking a Front Office Supervisor to lead and supervise the front desk team at The Long Apron. You will deliver personalised guest experiences, optimise operations, and drive revenue opportunities in a boutique luxury setting.

The role demands supervisory experience, strong customer service, and proficient use of hotel management systems, with a roster including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hotel Front Office role, ideally within a luxury, boutique hotel environment.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience.
• Experience using hotel property management systems.
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
• A genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• Reliable transport to travel to and from the retreat.

Responsibilities

• Curate an unforgettable and personalised service experience for our guests from start to finish.
• Help lead a close-knit team, supervise and coordinating service, and coach your team to uphold Spicers service and quality standards.
• Oversee daily front office operations including guest arrivals, departures, reservations and enquiries.
• Assist with roster management and ensure adequate team coverage across all shifts.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns promptly, professionally and with a guest-first mindset.
• Build strong relationships with guests to encourage loyalty and repeat visitation.
• Maximise revenue opportunities through upselling accommodation, dining experiences and retreat offerings.
• Ensure accurate processing of payments, guest accounts and daily reconciliations.
• Maintain presentation standards throughout reception and guest-facing areas.
• Work collaboratively with all departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times.
