Job summary

Saffire Freycinet, part of Federal Group, is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead remarkable dining experiences on Tasmania's east coast. You will manage service across Palate Restaurant, the Lounge, and in-suite experiences, delivering warm, personalised hospitality in a luxury setting.

This role offers leadership development within a globally awarded luxury lodge, with opportunities to mentor a high-performing team and collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and F&B Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory role within a premium hospitality or luxury environment.
• Strong bar expertise, with the ability to confidently deliver cocktails, mocktails and wine service to a luxury standard.
• Care, professionalism and attention to detail in guest interactions.
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport due to location.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example in delivering warm, personalised service aligned with luxury standards.
• Support the Food & Beverage Manager in day-to-day operations of the restaurant and bar.
• Build authentic connections with guests and create memorable, tailored experiences.
• Work closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to deliver exceptional food and wine pairings.
• Mentor, train and develop team members, fostering a strong and stable team culture.
• Take ownership of service standards, ensuring consistency, quality and attention to detail.
• Support ordering, stock control and inventory management.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
