Job summary

Saffire Freycinet, nestled on Tasmania's East Coast, is seeking a Public Areas Attendant to help keep our luxury lodge immaculate. This full-time role supports our guest-facing and shared spaces, from lounges to back-of-house areas.

You will join a committed housekeeping team with a focus on detail, guest service, and flexible shifts including weekends. Prior cleaning or hospitality experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning, housekeeping, hospitality or customer service experience is desirable
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• A keen eye for detail and pride in delivering quality work
• A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a team environment
• The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of public areas throughout the lodge
• Ensure guest facilities, amenities and common spaces are well presented
• Clean and refresh guest and staff areas to the highest standards
• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests and operational requirements
• Follow safe work practices and maintain exceptional hygiene standards
• Support the wider housekeeping team where required

What you can expect in a day in this role

In this full-time role as a Public Areas Attendant, you'll play an important role in ensuring our guest-facing and shared spaces are impeccably presented at all times. From our lounge and dining areas through to guest facilities and back-of-house spaces, your attention to detail will help create the welcoming and luxurious environment Saffire is renowned for.

Working as part of our housekeeping team, you'll be responsible for:

• Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of public areas throughout the lodge
• Ensuring guest facilities, amenities and common spaces are consistently well presented
• Cleaning and refreshing guest and staff areas to the highest standards
• Responding promptly to housekeeping requests and operational requirements
• Following safe work practices and maintaining exceptional hygiene standards
• Supporting the wider housekeeping team where required
