Job summary

Kimpton Mayfair Adelaide seeks a Director of Food & Beverage to lead the vision and performance of the hotel’s F&B offerings, across restaurants, bars and events, delivering bold, guest‑focused experiences that reflect local culture.

Working with the Executive Chef and hotel leadership, you will drive commercial performance, nurture high‑performing teams and champion sustainable practice, positioning the property as a vibrant local destination.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading F&B operations in luxury hotel or comparable setting.
• Strong commercial acumen with revenue, profitability and budget management.
• Inspiring leadership to develop, engage and retain high-performing teams.
• Experience leading restaurants, bars, events or multi-outlet F&B operations.
• Understanding of contemporary F&B trends and guest engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the vision and performance of the hotel's F&B operation across venues, events and culinary experiences.
• Inspire, coach and develop the F&B team with a culture of service excellence and collaboration.
• Develop and manage F&B budgets, forecasts and business plans; drive revenue and profitability.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef, Restaurant Manager, Bars Manager and hotel leadership.
• Position the venues as vibrant destinations by building local connections and experiences.
• Champion sustainability, safety, compliance and continuous operational improvement.
