Job summary

InterContinental Sydney Coogee Beach offers Eliva Spa, seeking a Receptionist/Spa Attendant to welcome guests, manage bookings, and support spa operations in a luxury setting. The role requires a warm, professional communicator with strong organizational skills and a passion for wellness.

Two years of spa reception experience and knowledge of spa products are preferred. Flexible shifts, RSA, and Police Check are noted; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Valid work rights / work visa for Australia.
• Minimum two years’ experience as a Spa Receptionist / Spa Attendant in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Friendly, professional communicator with a people-centric approach.
• Strong organization and meticulous attention to detail.
• Genuine interest in wellness and delivering a luxury spa experience.
• Impeccable grooming and time management.
• Knowledge of spa and wellness industry; calm under pressure.
• Guest relations and retail sales experience.
• Experience with spa management systems and MS Office.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Valid RSA or ability to obtain; Police Check desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm welcome and premium first impression for in-house and external guests.
• Manage appointments, phone calls, and email enquiries with confidence.
• Support the Director of Spa and spa therapists to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain a polished reception area and uphold luxury spa standards.
• Answer guest enquiries and upsell treatments and products.
• Keep the spa clean and serene; store and prepare rooms and equipment appropriately.
• Assist with stock coordination, spa presentation, and administrative tasks.
• Help ensure guests feel informed, cared for, and genuinely valued.
• Be knowledgeable about product ranges and retail usage to upsell and rebook.
• Uphold high standards of customer service and stay updated on spa trends; be the Eliva ambassador.
