Job summary

1001 Optometry in Hornsby, NSW, is seeking a part-time Optical Dispenser / Optical Assistant to support customers through their eyewear journey, from greeting and styling through to dispensing and aftercare.

You will work closely with the store team and optometrists, providing a warm, high-end experience on the shop floor, and you will receive training to grow within our boutique network.

Qualifications

• What candidates should bring: a friendly, service-oriented approach and interest in fashion and people.
• Experience in optical retail is valued but training is provided for the right person.
• Ability to work on a busy shop floor and support the patient journey.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a warm, high-end customer experience on the shop floor
• Assist with frame styling, sales and the full patient journey
• Support dispensing, collections and aftercare
• Maintain boutique presentation to the 1001 standard
• Help with stock, merchandising and admin tasks
