Job summary

LVMH is seeking a motivated Logistics Intern to support our Australian and New Zealand operations from Sydney. This entry-level, paid role assists in vendor coordination, inventory tracking, and boutique support across both countries, under the guidance of the Assistant Manager, Logistics.

You'll build foundational logistics knowledge, gain hands-on experience in warehouse activities, and contribute to process improvements while working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Currently studying towards or a recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong foundational understanding of logistics principles and supply chain management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail, consistent, reliable, and accountable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), with the ability to learn and implement AI tools and automation solutions using Power Automate
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly organised with strong time-management skills.
• Experience or interest in the retail or luxury goods sector.
• Basic knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) or logistics software.

Responsibilities

• Assist as a point of contact for our third-party reverse logistics vendor, helping to monitor adherence to SLAs and performance metrics.
• Support the monitoring of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, reticketing, and dispatch records.
• Assist in collaborating with the vendor to monitor progress, ensure deadlines are respected, and support the resolution of operational issues.
• Help collate data for regular performance reviews and audits of warehouse operations.
• Assist in tracking end-to-end logistics processes, from inbound shipments to boutique deliveries and outbound re-exports.
• Support the optimisation of transportation routes and methods to minimise costs and transit times.
• Monitor inventory movements at the warehouse to assist with accurate stock reconciliation.
• CITES Applications: Coordinate CITES applications and documentation, with support from the freight forwarder, ensuring all requirements are completed prior to shipment.
• Support logistics coordination for new boutique set-ups, product launches, promotions, events, sales, seasonal campaigns, and pop-ups.
• Assist in maintaining logistics policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Help ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to boutiques across Australia and New Zealand.
• Assist in addressing routine logistics-related queries or issues from boutiques promptly and effectively.
• Support boutique managers and back-of-house teams under the guidance of the logistics team.
