Job summary

BOC in Brisbane is seeking a Despatcher to support administration and transport operations across the zone and interstate. You will coordinate driver paperwork, loading, and liaise with customer service and account managers to ensure timely deliveries.

We require 1–3 years in transport dispatch, a logistics qualification, and familiarity with SAP and MS Office. A reliable vehicle is essential; scanners are used for deliveries.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in transport dispatch
• Proven ability to coordinate driver communications and paperwork
• Experience with loading, shipment inspection, and logistics documentation

Responsibilities

• Work rotating morning and afternoon shifts on a fortnightly basis.
• Ensure driver paperwork aligns with work scheduled and product loaded
• Liaise with customer service, scheduler and/or account managers to support customer enquiries and deliveries
• Process and assemble picklists for the loads; facilitate shipment inspection, settlements and trip confirmations, while maintaining site stock accuracy
• Report hazards, injuries, and accidents; report non-compliances to policy and local regulations
• Facilitate the execution of distribution strategy as directed by the distribution manager; perform admin data entry for distributions
• Monitor and evaluate driver compliance to use scanners for completion of runs and identify areas for improvement
