Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in Sydney’s Macquarie Park is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage end-to-end logistics with 3PL providers. You will oversee inbound receiving, storage, inventory control and outbound distribution while ensuring service levels and KPI targets are met.

You will engage with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues, improve processes and maintain accurate stock, in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in logistics or supply chain.
• Experience coordinating with third-party logistics providers.
• Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Experience resolving logistics-related complaints.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact between Abbott and 3PL providers.
• Coordinate inbound receiving, storage, inventory management, and outbound distribution.
• Monitor daily warehouse operations to meet service levels and KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with service levels, contracts, and procedures.
• Coordinate inventory transfers between physical and system stock.
• Work with freight carriers to ensure efficient movement of goods.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through daily stock reconciliations.
• Investigate stock discrepancies, damaged goods, and variances.
• Monitor transportation requirements for inbound/outbound shipments.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners to drive improvements.
