Davies Stewart is partnering with a market-leading, technology-driven asset integrity and inspection company delivering specialised services across Australia's mining, energy, infrastructure, and defence sectors. Operating from their South Australian headquarters in Hindmarsh, Adelaide, the business combines technical expertise with custom inspection solutions to safeguard vital national infrastructure.

The Logistics Coordinator position offers a rewarding mix of physical, hands-on warehouse tasks and digital inventory management. Working a stable, full-time casual schedule from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, this role is ideal for an organised professional who enjoys a varied day and wants to support a fast-growing, highly collaborative technical team.

• Attractive Hourly Rate: Competitive remuneration ranging from $38.00 to $42.00 per hour (dependent on experience), paid on a weekly casual basis.

The Role

Reporting to operations management, you will coordinate day-to-day warehouse workflows, equipment dispatches, and inventory controls to ensure field technicians and project teams are fully supported.

• Execute Hands-On Warehouse Operations: Manage the physical receipt, unpacking, inspection, and organised storage of incoming specialised equipment, tools, and stock.
• Coordinate Despatches and Freight: Prepare, pack, and palletise outgoing shipments and equipment for domestic transport, ensuring items are safely secured and labelled.
• Drive Warehouse Administration: Maintain accurate digital inventory records, manage stock control systems, update shipping registers, and process purchase orders.
• Manage Equipment Readiness: Inspect, test, and restock field equipment packages, ensuring technical kits are fully accounted for and ready for deployment.
• Maintain Safety and Housekeeping: Uphold a clean, hazard-free warehouse environment in strict compliance with company Work Health & Safety (WHS) protocols.

About You

You are an adaptable, energetic professional who pairs a hands-on work ethic with strong administrative accuracy and an eye for detail.

• Logistics Experience: Proven background in warehousing, inventory control, logistics coordination, administration or storeperson duties (exposure to technical or industrial equipment is highly advantageous).
• Balanced Skill Set: Comfort and capability with physical, manual handling tasks alongside high digital literacy for warehouse software and administrative duties.
• Organisational Rigour: Exceptional time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks independently and keep accurate inventory logs.
• Communication Excellence: Strong interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with internal team members, freight providers, and technical field staff.
