Job summary

Ambulance Victoria in Melbourne is seeking a Logistics Support Officer - Specialist Resources to maintain and prepare specialist vehicles, equipment, caches and supplies for rapid deployment. The role ensures resources are serviced and ready in line with AV requirements and procedures.

The position is full-time and based at AV's South Melbourne Support Centre, with a rostered schedule typically from 6:30am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. Some overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating assets and medical/mechanical equipment with emphasis on critical timelines and quality of service.
• Knowledge of medical equipment, PPE and medical consumables is preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Ensure specialist vehicles, equipment, caches and supplies are maintained and ready for deployment.
• Perform equipment checks, stock rotations, replenishment and routine maintenance.
• Support equipment compliance, safety and performance testing.
• Liaise with Fleet & Equipment Services and stakeholders to resolve asset issues.
