Job summary

SC Medical in Australia seeks an entry-level logistics administrator to process orders, coordinate shipments, and support our biomedical service operations.

You will handle inbound/outbound orders, prep invoices, RMAs, and assist with customs documentation while maintaining accurate records and timely reporting. A detail-focused, organized mindset is essential for this role in a hybrid office/warehouse environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Receive and process incoming orders for medical equipment and supplies.
  • Accurately pick, pack and dispatch outbound shipments.
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices.
  • Generate repair request forms and RMAs.
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments across multiple freight providers.
  • Prepare commercial invoices for international shipments and assist with customs clearance docs.
  • Monitor shipment turnaround times and update records.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and initiate reorders.
  • Maintain up-to-date database records and timely job/shipment status updates.
  • Prepare monthly shipment reports and maintain a clean office/warehouse environment.

SC Medical, an innovative third-party biomedical service provider, invites you to bring your expertise to our dedicated team. Specialising in consulting, medical equipment repairs, medical gases, commissioning services, and on-site biomedical engineering, supporting healthcare facilities across Australia.

The Role

This is an entry level, detail-focused role where you'll process outbound shipments and incoming orders, coordinate freight across multiple providers, and help keep critical medical equipment moving efficiently to healthcare providers across Australia. Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and process incoming orders (15+ per day during busy periods) for medical equipment, parts, consumables, test equipment and supplies
  • Accurately pick, pack and dispatch outbound shipments (20+ per day during busy periods), clearing incoming and outward shelves daily where possible
  • Prepare and issue customer invoices
  • Generate repair request forms and Return Merchandise Authorisations (RMAs)
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments across multiple freight providers, selecting the appropriate provider based on customer needs and requirements
  • Prepare commercial invoices for international shipments and assist with customs clearance documentation and processes
  • Monitor shipment turnaround times to ensure workloads stay on track
  • Conduct regular inventory checks on packing supplies and initiate reorders as required
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date database records at all times, including timely job and shipment status updates
  • Prepare monthly reports on shipment tracking and quantities
  • Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised office and warehouse environment at all times
