Job summary

Team Global Express seeks a Driver/Dockhand based at Hobart Airport in Cambridge to perform local pickups and deliveries across the Hobart area. This hands-on role includes forklift and depot duties, loading and unloading freight, and ensuring secure transport while adhering to safety procedures.

Ideal candidates will hold an MR Driver Licence, a Forklift Licence, and have experience in professional driving or logistics.

Qualifications

• A valid MR Driver Licence.
• A valid Forklift Licence.
• Previous professional driving/transport/logistics experience.
• Experience with local pickup and delivery operations.
• Understanding of safe driving practices and load restraint.
• Ability to navigate Hobart and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Complete local pickup and delivery runs in Hobart.
• Operate MR vehicle between depot and customer locations.
• Load and unload general freight at depot and customer sites.
• Use forklift to load/unload freight as required.
• Check freight against documentation and ensure secure loading.
• Complete delivery paperwork and proof of delivery.
• Maintain safety checks on vehicles and report issues.
