Job summary

Team Global Express in Launceston is seeking a reliable Driver/Dockhand to join our Air Freight team on a full-time afternoon shift. You will complete local deliveries and pickups, load and unload freight, and operate a forklift in a busy airport-adjacent operation.

This role requires a valid LF forklift licence (essential) and ideally an MR licence. You will work 38 hours per week, Monday to Thursday afternoons and Friday late afternoon, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• LF Forklift Licence (essential)
• MR Licence (desirable) or willingness to obtain
• Experience in driving, warehousing or freight (preferred)
• Strong focus on safety
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable with a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Complete local deliveries and pickups
• Load and unload freight
• Operate a forklift
• Assist with warehouse and dock duties
• Prepare freight for air transport
• Complete vehicle and equipment checks
• Follow safety and aviation security procedures
