Job summary

Team Global Express seeks a PM Operations Supervisor to join our Hobart team at Hobart Airport. This full-time, permanent role partners with drivers and the operational team to coordinate daily activities, tackle challenges and deliver safe, efficient service.

You will lead, coach and support frontline staff, ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility and WHS, and drive continuous improvement across operations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in transport/logistics/distribution.
• Strong understanding of time-critical freight movements.
• Experience leading operational teams including drivers and warehousing staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily PUD operations to ensure freight is collected, processed and delivered on time.
• Coordinate drivers, vehicles, forklift operators and labour resources to meet requirements.
• Monitor service performance, productivity and DIFOT outcomes and identify improvements.
• Support route execution, fleet utilisation and labour planning for efficiency.
• Provide frontline leadership, coaching and performance support to team members.
