Job summary

Team Global Express Pty is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead daily PUD operations at Hobart Airport, Cambridge. You will coordinate drivers, vehicles and labour to meet time-critical freight commitments while balancing safety, efficiency and service outcomes.

You will provide guidance to the team, monitor performance and drive improvements, collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and uphold high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operational teams in transport, freight, or logistics.
• Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and WHS requirements.
• Ability to coordinate labour, fleet and equipment to meet daily service needs.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily PUD operations to ensure freight is collected, processed and delivered on time.
• Coordinate drivers, vehicles, forklift operators and labour to meet requirements.
• Monitor service performance, productivity and DIFOT; identify improvement opportunities.
• Support route execution, fleet utilisation and labour planning for efficiency.
• Provide frontline leadership, coaching and performance support to the team.
• Handle day-to-day operational challenges and make timely decisions to protect service outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and safety requirements; conduct toolbox talks.
