Job summary

RAC Insurance Pty Limited is seeking a dedicated Settlements Officer to join our RAC Finance team in a permanent full-time role. You will support loan funding activities, process payments, and perform account reconciliations in line with compliance guidelines.

You will oversee daily loan payments, reconcile accounts, and manage refunds and direct debit forms, while engaging with internal and external stakeholders to drive efficient processes and adherence to AML/CTF requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with loan accounting and reconciliation processes.
• Ability to adhere to AML/CTF legislation and compliance guidelines.
• Strong documentation and data entry accuracy.
• Proactive in addressing payment queries and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily loan payments and ensure AML/CTF compliance while processing new loan files.
• Reconcile loan clearing and GL accounts; monitor overnight error reports.
• Manage loan account closures and process Consumer Credit Insurance refunds.
• Lead stakeholder management and reviews of procedure manuals; train for changes.
• Handle daily data entry for refinanced journals and cheque repayments; address queries.
• Provide relief as required and perform other duties as requested.
