Job summary

Metro Finance in Sydney is seeking a Business Analyst with loan servicing experience to support the Product Team in gathering technical and non-technical requirements for the loan servicing portal. You will identify gaps, document processes, and engage business users and the development team to implement improvements.

The role involves workshops with stakeholders, sprint ceremonies, vendor coordination, and creating release notes and UAT scenarios.

Qualifications

Loan servicing experience essential.
Asset finance experience is a plus.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Experience working with APIs, DevOps and SharePoint.
Basic knowledge of JSON, XML and SQL.
Proficiency with Visio and Lucidchart for process mapping.
3+ years in a similar Business Analysis role.
Australian working rights (citizen or PR) required.

Responsibilities

Conduct workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather requirements; write user stories and acceptance criteria for the dev team.
Manage sprints and ceremonies (daily standups, planning, showcases, retros).
Collaborate with external vendors and oversee feature/requirement implementation.
Prepare release notes and UAT test scenarios for each sprint; assist business users during UAT.
Review and test new features and fixes; coordinate with QA to ensure quality.
Document as-is and to-be processes with workflows and flowcharts; suggest improvements.
Investigate production issues and follow up until resolution.
