Profusion Group in Sydney seeks a Senior Technical Business Analyst to drive technology transformation, APIs, data mapping and end-to-end system interactions. You will translate business needs into detailed technical specs and work with stakeholders, developers and vendors to deliver solutions.

The role emphasizes lending lifecycle knowledge, SDLC and Agile delivery, with a hybrid work pattern in Sydney (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst, including at least 5 years in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Lead business and technical analysis across digital transformation and technology initiatives.
• Analyse and document APIs, integrations, interfaces and end-to-end system interactions across multiple platforms.
• Create data mapping documentation, sequence diagrams and detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Map current- and future-state business processes, identifying opportunities to improve, streamline or automate workflows.
• Elicit, analyse and negotiate requirements across business stakeholders, developers and third-party vendors.
• Translate business needs into practical solutions, ensuring requirements are aligned across interconnected systems.
• Work closely with developers, integration partners and vendors to clarify requirements, resolve blockers and keep delivery on track.
• Identify technical dependencies, assess risks and support delivery planning across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Support testing and quality assurance, investigate defects and ensure solutions meet business requirements before release.
• Take ownership of requirements and drive initiatives from initial analysis through to delivery.
