Job summary

LifeHealthcare is seeking a hands-on Loan Kit Technician for our Macquarie Park team. You will prepare, maintain and coordinate surgical loan kits and instrument sets, ensuring on-time delivery and accurate records in our ERP system.

You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment, showing meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines. On-call rosters and occasional after-hours work are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of loan kit processes and inventory control.
• Experience using ERP or inventory management systems.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• A proactive, "can-do" attitude.
• The ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
• A continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, pack and dispatch loan kits and instrument sets for customer procedures.
• Receive, inspect, replenish and transact kits following surgical use.
• Ensure all inventory movements are accurately recorded within the ERP system.
• Maintain, clean and test surgical instruments and sets to ensure they are complete and fully functional.
• Work closely with Managers, Customer Service, Supply Chain & hospital customers to meet surgical requirements.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with stock control activities.
• Complete daily activity logs and missing item reporting.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe and efficient warehouse environment.
• Participate in on-call and overtime rosters as required.
• Assist with annual stocktakes and cycle counts.

Additional Requirements

• Participation in an on‑call roster
• Some out‑of‑hours work as required
• Availability for two weekend stocktakes/cycle counts each year
• A current Australian driver's licence
