Job summary

LifeHealthcare in Melbourne is seeking a Clinical Specialist to provide in-theatre clinical support for surgical procedures. You will build strong relationships with surgeons and their nursing staff, delivering training and case support as needed.

The role emphasizes autonomy within a high-performing team and requires a background in a clinical setting, nursing, or related medical fields, with flexibility to travel within VIC.

Based in Melbourne, and part of a collaborative Team, as a clinical specialist you’ll be responsible for providing clinical support for surgical procedures and building strong relationships with our surgeons and nursing staff. We're looking for someone who:

You'll be responsible for:

• Providing clinical support for surgical procedures in theatre
• Building relationships with our key surgeons and their nursing staff by way oftraining, education, and clinical case support
• Ensuring that all surgical cases are properly equipped with the requiredinstrument kits, implants, and user guide as per each customers' requirements.

And to be successful you’ll need:

• Experience in a clinical or theatre environment or have a background in nursing,
• Preferably scout/scrub nurses who have had exposure to spine and/or orthopaedic cases, radiography, physiotherapy, nuclear medicine or radiation therapy.
• A tertiary education in a related medical field such as a physiotherapist,paramedic, biomedical engineer, science (anatomy) or nursing is ideal.
• Direct experience working in an operating theatre environment
• Resilience and versatility: you can work autonomously or in a team and arepassionate about providing first class customer service.
• Current driver’s license (essential) and be flexible to travel in VIC.
