Job summary

Gattuso Transport is seeking a Load Planner to support scheduling and planning of loads, ensuring on-time delivery and POD accuracy in a fast-paced family-owned business with 30+ years in the transport sector.

Reporting to the owner, you will coordinate with drivers and customers, apply regulatory constraints, and build strong relationships with stakeholders while maintaining high accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Load Planner - Full Time Position - MUST have Transport Industry experience

Reporting to the business owner, the Load Planner will support in the scheduling and planning of loads to deliver excellent logistics management services for the company and its' customers. The role is responsible for the efficiency of the linehaul department by providing excellent administrative support in managing and coordinating the company’s requirements. This role is a fast paced role and will suit someone with energy, personal drive and flexibility.

Key accountabilities include (but not limited to):

• Providing effective communication with external and internal customers
• Ensuring designated freight is loaded and delivered within the agreed timeframes. Managing this process effectively.
• Maintaining accurate records (Proof Of Delivery etc)
• Ensuring loads are planned to adhere to regulatory restraints/ regulations

Skills & Experience for Success:

• Experience in a similar role OR in depth knowledge of the transport industry and ready to progress into the scheduler role. Applicants who cannot demonstrate this requirement will not be short listed.
