Job summary

Exodas Pty Ltd on the Gold Coast is seeking a detail‑focused Transport Planner to plan loading of linehaul units into North Queensland, optimise delivery order, and ensure correct temperatures for palletised freight.

You will coordinate with loaders and drivers, maintain clear communication with depots, and bring strong IT skills (Excel) to a fast‑paced team. Full training provided with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Intermediate computer skills (Office, Excel) are essential.
• Experience in linehaul/interstate road transport is desirable.
• Experience with refrigerated freight is desirable.

Exodas is a well-established and growing transport and logistics company operating along the East coast of Australia, from Nth Queensland through to Melbourne.

Head Office is located in Yatala (QLD) with depots/yards also located inMelbourne, Sydney, Warnervale, Mackay, Bowen, Townsville, Tully, Innisfail and Mareeba.

The Role

• Plan the loading of linehaul units into North Queensland to:
• Ensure freight is loaded in the most efficient delivery order
• Ensure freight is at correct temperature(s) for product
• Co-ordinate with loaders to ensure departure times are met
• Inform receiving depots of inbound freight for delivery
• Communicate with drivers as required to answer driver queries
• Experience within the linehaul/interstate road transport sector is desirable
• Experience and understanding of refrigerated freight is desirable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Intermediate (Office, Excel) computer skills are essential
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise in a sometimes high paced and high pressure environment
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Full training will be provided- but you must be a go getter and learn on the fly!
