Job summary

Anglo American is seeking an experienced Mining Superintendent (Load & Haul) to lead the open cut operation at Dawson Mine, Moura, QLD. You will report to the Operations Manager and drive safe, reliable production through effective team leadership and coordination with maintenance and technical groups.

The role suits an established Mining Superintendent or a coordinator/supervisor ready for greater accountability in a large, complex mining operation.

Qualifications

Demonstrated leadership of coal mine teams to achieve targets.
Mining Supervisor competency (G1/G8/G9) or equivalent.
Relevant qualifications in mining engineering, geology or similar.

Responsibilities

Lead production activities to meet targets safely and efficiently.
Coordinate with Maintenance and Technical teams on schedules.
Develop frontline leaders and ensure alignment to mine plan.
Monitor performance and implement improvement actions.
Foster a proactive safety culture and toolbox talks.
