Job summary

QantasLink is seeking a Load Control Planner to oversee forward planning, coordination and production of all loading, weight and balance documentation in line with airline specifications to meet passenger, cargo and fuel requirements.

This 18-month fixed-term, part-time role is based at our Regional Operations Centre in Mascot, with a 24/7 rotating shift roster and Enterprise Agreement coverage. You’ll work with stakeholders across the QantasGroup to maximise cargo space while ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to think both analytically and mathematically.
• Proven problem-solving capabilities and ability to handle high pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee forward planning, coordination and production of all loading, weight and balance documentation.
• Ensure compliance with airline specifications to meet passenger, cargo and fuel requirements.
• Complete initial training and ongoing competency assessments with stakeholders across QantasLink.
