Job summary

Qantas Airways is seeking a Load Control Planner for an 18-month fixed-term, part-time role based at our Regional Operations Centre in Mascot. You will be responsible for forward planning, coordinating, and producing all loading, weight and balance documentation to meet airline specifications and ensure optimal cargo space usage.

You will train on commencement and continue with ongoing assessments, interacting with multiple stakeholders to ensure safe aircraft operations and passenger/cargo

Qualifications

Ability to work a rotating shift roster.
Strong time management and prioritisation.
Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
Strong analytical and mathematical thinking.
Problem-solving under pressure with stakeholder influence.
Aviation or Customer Service experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Lead forward planning of loading, weight and balance documentation.
Coordinate loading to meet passenger, cargo and fuel requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders across QantasLink to optimise cargo space.
Complete initial training and ongoing competency assessments.
