Job summary

UNSW is seeking a senior leader to drive the LMS platform stream, shaping the multi-year roadmap and investment strategy across a university-wide LMS transformation. You will govern delivery, risk, and architecture in partnership with UNSW IT, and influence senior stakeholders with clear options and trade-offs.

You will author business cases, manage resources and contracts, and ensure delivery excellence across a complex ecosystem while aligning with UNSW's aims, policies and safety

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications and/or significant experience in similar roles.
• Experience applying PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile or other recognized project management methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex technology programs or delivery streams.
• Proven ability to influence executive-level stakeholders and governance forums.
• Experience developing business cases, investment recommendations and benefits realization strategies.
• Resource planning and workforce leadership experience in complex environments.
• Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation within formal financial delegation.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery and release readiness for the LMS platform and ecosystem.
• Lead the strategic alignment, sustainability and total cost of ownership of the LMS Platform Stream.
• Set platform stream priorities and manage dependencies across delivery commitments and budgets.
• Lead governance and decision-making, presenting roadmap, investment, risk and resourcing to leadership.
• Develop and maintain the multi-year LMS platform roadmap with future capabilities and gaps.
• Author business cases and change requests for executive decision-making.
• Lead resource planning and workforce allocation across the Platform Stream.
• Own strategic commercial relationships with platform and implementation vendors.
• Monitor outcomes and manage platform delivery, risk, data and security obligations.
• Build senior stakeholder relationships and deputize for the Program Director at governance forums.
