Job summary

Regional Livestock Exchanges (RLX) is seeking a capable Administrative Supervisor to support site operations at Leongatha, VIC. You will back the Business Manager, coordinate a range of office functions and oversee accounts and reporting functions for the saleyard site.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a busy livestock environment. Q fever vaccination is requested or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Business/Administration or equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide office support to site staff (Business Manager, Operations Manager, Maintenance Officer and Livestock Coordinator).
• Support the Business Manager with confidential administrative tasks and reporting.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, purchasing orders and inventory for the site.
• Coordinate meetings, agendas, minutes and catering for Saleyard Advisory or Safety Committee meetings.
• Assist with customer enquiries and communication with agents, vendors and buyers.
• Provide marketing support including social media as required.
• Deliver high standard of customer service to staff, agents and suppliers.
