Job summary

Varsity in Perth, WA is seeking a energetic kitchen team member to master food preparation, follow recipes, and deliver meals to Varsity standards across all stations. You will work across prep, fry, grill, pizza and salad areas, maintaining cleanliness and safety while supporting stock rotation and timely service.

Cert 3 in Commercial Cookery is preferred; enthusiasm and a love of good food are essential. Previous kitchen experience helps but is not required.

Qualifications

• Cert 3 in Commercial Cookery or equivalent is preferred.
• Positive attitude and passion for food.
• Previous kitchen experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Master food preparation and presentation to Varsity standards.
• Follow recipes and kitchen guides.
• Ensure meals are served promptly and hot.
• Maintain a hygienic kitchen and assist with cleaning systems.
• Support stock rotation and ingredient freshness.
• Assist in training team and uphold Varsity service levels.
