Job summary

TOM People is recruiting a Risk Manager to join a leading real assets organisation in Sydney on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The role sits in a highly visible Line 2 risk function, partnering with the business to strengthen risk governance, controls and frameworks.

You will lead risk assessments, perform Line 2 risk activities, deliver risk reporting to senior management and the Board, and support the continuous improvement of GRC systems and governance processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in risk management.
• Background in corporate risk, risk assurance or GRC.
• Experience within Funds or Wealth Management or similar large FS business.
• Exposure to ERM/GRC platforms and systems enhancement.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating risk assessments and identifying key risks and controls.
• Line 2 risk activities - review and challenge and strongly partnering with the business.
• Delivering risk reporting to senior management and the Board.
• Managing and enhancing GRC systems, including data analysis.
• Supporting the continuous improvement of risk frameworks, policies and governance processes.
