Job summary

Smartscape Connected Lighting Systems in Albion (Brisbane) is seeking an Internal Sales Estimator to support lighting, control systems and emergency lighting projects. You will interpret drawings, prepare quotations and select appropriate products and systems.

You’ll work with our experienced engineering, sales and technical teams, learning quickly, taking ownership of projects and contributing to ongoing growth. This role is office-based with opportunities to engage with customers.

Qualifications

• Strong technical mindset and problem-solving ability.
• Experience interpreting technical drawings, specs or project documents.
• Ability to analyse requirements, evaluate options and develop practical solutions.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management.
• Good computer skills and willingness to learn new software.
• Clear communication and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings, lighting layouts and technical specifications.
• Prepare material take-offs, equipment selections and project quotations.
• Develop lighting, lighting control and emergency lighting solutions.
• Liaise with contractors, wholesalers, engineers and consultants to clarify requirements.
• Manage multiple RFQs and meet tender deadlines.
• Follow up quotations and identify opportunities for alternatives or additions.
• Collaborate closely with sales and technical teams.
