Job summary

Apprenticeships Are Us in Heathcote, NSW is seeking 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Light Vehicle Mechanic Apprentices to continue their training in a small, independent workshop. You’ll work toward the AUR30620 certificate while gaining hands-on experience across a range of vehicles, servicing and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Current enrolment in a Light Vehicle Mechanic apprenticeship as a 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice.
• Previous hands-on automotive workshop experience.
• Reliable transport to Heathcote, NSW.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle servicing and scheduled maintenance.
• Mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis.
• Using diagnostic equipment and workshop technology.
• Brake, steering and suspension repairs.
• Engine and mechanical component repairs.
• Removing and replacing worn or damaged components.
• Vehicle inspections, testing and safety checks.
• Reading and following manufacturer specifications and repair procedures.
