Job summary

Luxe Lift NSW Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Lift Installers to join our growing team in Sydney. This is a full-time position based in Sydney NSW 2000. As a Lift Tester and Installer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, reliability and compliance of lift systems across residential, commercial and industrial properties. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring that all installations and testing procedures meet rigorous industry standards and regulations.

What you'll be doing

• Installing lift systems and components according to engineering specifications and safety standards
• Conducting comprehensive testing and inspection of lift equipment to ensure compliance with Australian Standards and relevant legislation
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues within lift systems
• Performing maintenance and repairs on existing lift installations
• Preparing detailed test reports and documentation for compliance and record-keeping purposes
• Liaising with clients, building managers and other contractors to coordinate installation and testing schedules
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, on time and within budget parameters
• Following workplace health and safety protocols at all times
• Training and mentoring junior team members where applicable

What we're looking for

• A current electrical licence or trade qualification recognised in New South Wales
• Proven experience in lift installation, testing and maintenance (minimum 3 years preferred)
• Knowledge of Australian Standards, particularly AS 1735 series relating to lifts and escalators
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in lift equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications
• A valid driver's licence and reliable transport
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• A commitment to health and safety practices and attention to detail
• Physical fitness and ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
• Familiarity with lift control systems and modernisation techniques is advantageous
