Job summary

Vertical Transport Solutions Pty Limited (VTS) in Sydney CBD NSW is seeking an Electricians & Mechanical Engineer Technician to support elevator and escalator installations, modernisations, and on-site electrical and mechanical work. You will coordinate with client representatives, ensure safe, high-quality installations, and diagnose faults.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in the lift industry, a current electrical licence, white card, and a willingness to work at heights.

Qualifications

Must have white card.
Must have or be willing to obtain working safely at heights.
Ideally 2 years experience in the lift industry.
Electrical licence for Electrical positions.
Current Driver's Licence.
Ability to speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

Examine blueprints, wiring diagrams and specifications to determine sequences and methods of operation
Measure and lay out installation reference points
Select, cut and connect wire and cable to terminals and connectors
Use electrical and electronic test instruments to trace and diagnose faults
Ensure safe, high quality, and timely installation of equipment following installation methods
Repair and replace faulty wiring and defective parts
Position and install electrical switchboards
Connect electrical systems to power supply
Test continuity of circuit
Install, test and adjust electric and mechanical parts of lifts

Vertical Transport Solutions – Sydney CBD NSW

As a lift Mechanical Engineering Technician with Vertical Transport Solutions, you will work on elevator and escalator installations, modernisations, and mechanical and electrical installations. You will manage the equipment installation environment during installation activities and communicate on-site with client representatives.
