THAMIN SERVICE SOLUTIONS PTY LTD – Sydney CBD NSW is seeking an eager apprentice for a Lift Technician Electrical Apprenticeship in Sydney. This hands‑on role blends mechanical and electrical work across lift installations, repairs and modernization projects.

The apprenticeship offers real on‑site experience, completion of a Certificate III in Electrotechnology, and exposure to a wide range of lift equipment and sites around Sydney.

Qualifications

Lift Technician Electrical Apprenticeship – Sydney

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and reliable apprentice to join our growing lift industry team in Sydney. This is a hands‑on role working across lift installations, repairs, servicing, and modernization projects.

Unlike a standard domestic or commercial electrical apprenticeship, this role combines both mechanical and electrical work, giving you a unique and highly specialised trade skillset within the lift industry.

The role consists of:

• 80% mechanical work
• 20% electrical work

You will gain experience in:

• Lift installations and repairs
• Motor wiring
• Basic programming and fault finding
• 240V–415V electrical terminations
• Mechanical assembly and adjustments
• Working with experienced lift technicians on-site

Successful applicants for the apprenticeship will complete a Certificate III in Electrotechnology while gaining real-world industry experience.

Work Locations

Projects are located across Sydney and surrounding areas, including:

• North West Sydney
• South West Sydney
• North Sydney
• Eastern Suburbs
• Southern Sydney regions

Applicants must be willing to travel to different job sites as required.

What We’re Looking For

• Must hold a current driver’s licence
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Mechanical mindset and hands‑on attitude
• Interest in electrical systems and fault finding
• Ability to work safely and follow instructions
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• White Card is a bonus, however training can be provided if required
