Job summary

Bupa ANZ in Berwick, Victoria, is seeking a Lifestyle & Wellbeing Coordinator to lead a vibrant, resident-led program that supports connection, purpose and wellbeing. You will create meaningful engagement across the home; 1:1 and group activities tailored to residents’ interests and routines.

You’ll lead the Wellbeing Carer team, coordinate volunteers and community connections, and ensure lifestyle assessments and documentation are accurate and up to date.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle is essential.
• Proven experience in lifestyle, wellbeing or activities coordination.
• Current First Aid certificate (including CPR) is essential.
• Comfortable supporting older people with dementia.
• Strong planning and judgement to manage a busy activity calendar.
• Warm, professional communication with residents, families and staff.
• Understanding of resident rights, safety and documentation requirements.
• Comfortable using digital systems for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate a resident-led lifestyle calendar and events with care home leadership.
• Create inclusive activities recognising each resident's values, culture and spirituality.
• Lead and support the Wellbeing Carer team to deliver daily experiences and hospitality-style support.
• Complete lifestyle assessments and contribute to care planning with accurate documentation.
• Coordinate community connections – volunteers, entertainers and outings; manage newsletters and posts.
• Maintain safe, compliant practice including infection control and WHS.
• Evaluate activities and contribute to audits and improvement of the lifestyle program.
