Job summary

Bupa Bateau Bay in the Central Coast, NSW, invites a Lifestyle & Wellbeing Coordinator to lead a vibrant, resident-led program that supports connection, purpose and wellbeing.

You will mentor the Wellbeing Carer team, plan activities, coordinate volunteers and ensure documentation is accurate, including Montessori-style engagement for residents with dementia.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle is essential.
• Proven experience in lifestyle, wellbeing or activities coordination.
• Confidence supporting older people’s wellbeing, including residents living with dementia.
• Strong planning and judgement to organise a busy team calendar.
• Warm, professional communication to build trust with residents, families and staff.
• Accurate documentation and knowledge of resident rights and safety.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate a resident-led lifestyle calendar and events with care home leadership.
• Create inclusive opportunities recognizing identity, culture and spirituality.
• Lead and support Wellbeing Carer team delivering daily activities and hospitality-style support.
• Complete lifestyle assessments and contribute to care planning with documented goals.
• Coordinate community connections including volunteers and outings.
• Maintain safe, compliant practice including infection control and WHS.
• Evaluate activities and contribute to audits and program improvements.
