Job summary

St Vincent's Care Bronte is seeking a dedicated Lifestyle Coordinator to design and lead leisure programs for residents, including dementia-focused activities and person-centered care. You will partner with residents to support daily routines, promote wellbeing and engagement in a compassionate environment.

The role is full-time in Sydney, with a focus on respect, safety, and individual preferences. A strong commitment to inclusive care and resident rights is essential.

Qualifications

• This role requires Cert IV in Leisure and Lifestyle/Diversional Therapy and experience in aged care.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities are essential.
• Knowledge of resident rights and person-centred care is preferred.
• NDIS screening and a current national police check are required or may be needed.

As the Lifestyle Coordinator, you’ll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincent's Care Bronte. St Vincent's Care Services Bronte is a boutique facility located in one of Sydney's beautiful beachside neighbourhoods. Our 107-bed facility offers a high standard of holistic care as well as specialist dementia accommodation.

A Lifestyle Coordinator, works collaboratively to promote, maintain and improve the health and wellbeing of residents. They develop a range of programs and activities to suit the individual needs and preferences of residents. They partner with residents to support their daily routine, lifestyle and choices and ensure they feel safe, valued, respected and engaged.

Things that work for us:

• Cert IV in Leisure and Lifestyle/ Diversional Therapy is essential.
• Experience in an aged care facility, developing Leisure programs including working with dementia clients from a person-centred approach.
• Availability to work full-time
• Good leadership and mentoring skills
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities
• Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (within last 6 months).
• NDIS Worker Screening Checkmaybe a requirement of this role.
