Job summary

Opal HealthCare in Belmore, NSW is seeking a creative and compassionate Wellbeing Manager to lead our Meaningful Life program and enrich residents' lives at Belmore Place Care Community.

You will design engagement plans, coach the care team, work with clinical colleagues to support mobility and quality of life, and help foster a vibrant, values-led community where residents can thrive.

Qualifications

• Experience in program coordination, lifestyle, wellbeing, or a similar role (aged care highly regarded).
• Excellent creativity, organisation, and communication skills.
• Passion for enriching the lives of others and creating joyful experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead a diverse and engaging Meaningful Life program that supports physical, emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing.
• Develop personalised engagement plans for residents based on preferences and backgrounds.
• Coach and mentor the care team to deliver meaningful daily interactions with residents.
• Collaborate with clinical and allied health teams to support mobility, independence, and quality of life.

What You'll Do:

Lead a diverse and engaging program of events and activities that support physical, emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing.

Develop personalised engagement plans for residents, celebrating their unique backgrounds, preferences, and passions.

Coach and mentor our care team to deliver meaningful, daily interactions with residents.

Work closely with clinical and allied health teams to support resident mobility, independence, and overall quality of life.

What You'll Need:

A passion for enriching the lives of others and creating joyful experiences.

Experience in program coordination, lifestyle, wellbeing, or a similar role (aged care highly regarded).

Excellent creativity, organisation, and communication skills.

Leadership experience or a strong desire to coach and support a team.

A relevant qualification in health, aged care, community services, or leisure & lifestyle is desirable.
