Opal HealthCare's Carlingford Greens Care Community in Sydney's north-west opens in March 2027, inviting a visionary Wellbeing Manager to shape the Meaningful Life program from day one. Job description

Opening in March 2027, Carlingford Greens Care Community is a brand-new, purpose-built aged care home in Sydney's north-west, supporting 150 residents across permanent, respite and dementia care.

This is a unique opportunity to establish the wellbeing program at a newly opened Care Community and shape the resident experience from the ground up. As Wellbeing Manager, you'll have the freedom to build programs, establish community partnerships and create meaningful opportunities that enrich residents' lives and foster a true sense of belonging.

Featuring beautiful gardens, light-filled living spaces and a vibrant Town Centre with a café, wellness centre and salon, Carlingford Greens has been thoughtfully designed to foster connection, comfort and belonging.

Conveniently located on Marsden Road, the community is easily accessible via public transport, with regular bus services and the Carlingford Light Rail providing connections to Parramatta and surrounding suburbs.

About the Role:

Join the opening team at Carlingford Greens Care Community as our Wellbeing Manager and lead our Meaningful Life program from day one. You'll design and deliver engaging experiences that support residents' wellbeing, foster meaningful connections and create a vibrant community where people feel valued, empowered and at home. Working closely with residents, families and team members, you'll play a key role in bringing the culture of our new Care Community to life.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and continually evolve our Meaningful Life program to create engaging and enriching resident experiences.


• Develop personalised engagement plans for residents, celebrating their unique backgrounds, preferences, and passions.


• Coach and mentor our care team to deliver meaningful, daily interactions with residents.


• Work closely with clinical and allied health teams to support resident mobility, independence, and overall quality of life.


• Champion a positive, inclusive and vibrant community where residents can thrive.

What You'll Need:

• A passion for enriching the lives of others and creating joyful experiences.


• Experience in program coordination, lifestyle, wellbeing, or a similar role (aged care highly regarded).


• Excellent creativity, organisation, and communication skills.


• Leadership experience or a strong desire to coach and support a team.


• A relevant qualification in health, aged care, community services, or leisure & lifestyle is desirable.


• Willingness to complete:
