Job summary

CraigCare Group in Melbourne is seeking a dedicated Lifestyle Assistant to enhance residents' wellbeing through tailored, meaningful activities. You will support dementia care residents, design engaging programs, and collaborate with a compassionate team to create moments that matter.

You'll bring prior aged care experience, creativity, and a commitment to quality improvement, with a Certificate III in Leisure and Lifestyle or Individual Support preferred.

What You’ll Bring:

• Previous aged care experience supporting individuals living with dementia or have a passion work in this area
• Creativity and a passion for designing and delivering engaging, person‑centred activities with a Commitment to continuous quality improvement
• Demonstrated ability to be calm, consistent and confident in complex care environments
• Comprehensive understanding to ensure resident choices become part of the activities
• Demonstrated flexibility, empathy and patience and respect for residents living with dementia and their needs, together with emotional regulation skills
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage specifically with our Memory Support residents and their families
• Sound knowledge of, and commitment to upholding the Aged Care Standards
• Previous experience with LeeCare or similar software systems and sound computer skills
• Provide proof of NDIS clearance and the right to work in Australia.
• Certificate III in Leisure and Lifestyle or Individual Support - preferable
