Job summary

Infin8 Care is seeking a Lifestyle Assistant at our Tweed Heads care home. You will support residents with personal care while encouraging participation in meaningful lifestyle programs, social activities, and one-on-one engagement.

Join a team of senior carers and managers who value connection, wellbeing and compassionate, timely care. The role requires empathy, good communication, and the ability to work across a 7-day roster with flexible availability and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support or Leisure & Lifestyle-related qualification is advantageous (not mandatory).
• Minimum 12 months experience in Aged Care as an AIN, Lifestyle or similar role preferred.
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (preferred).
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.
• Understanding of person-centred care and resident wellbeing.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe environment for residents and colleagues.
• Genuine passion for making a difference in aged care.
• Display a positive, fun and confident personality to help residents engage in lifestyle activities.
• Own vehicle or private transport is a MUST for this role.

In this rewarding role, you'll support residents with personal care while encouraging participation in meaningful lifestyle programs, social activities, and one-on-one engagement. You'll help foster connection, promote wellbeing, and create moments that truly matter.

This role based at our Tweed Heads care home, will see you working closely with the nursing and resident engagement teams when performing your resident-centric care duties in a timely and compassionate manner surrounded by highly skilled and supportive senior carers and managers. The attached position description outlines duties and accountabilities for this role - Lifestyle is what is this role is commonly called in the Aged Care sector.

About You

At Infinite Care we hire for heart, so our best people are highly empathic, instil a strong work ethic and passionate about making a difference to the elderly. Ideally, you have worked in the Aged Care sector for at least 1 year and the ability to “think on your feet”, communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers alike. In addition, you will also

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Leisure & Lifestyle, Health Services or a similar qualification advantageous (however, not mandatory for this role)
• Previous experience in Aged Care as an AIN, Lifestyle or similar role (minimum 12 months preferred)
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (preferred)
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
• Understanding of person-centred care and resident wellbeing
• A positive, energetic, and compassionate approach
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills

• Own vehicle or private transport is a MUST for this role, as public transport is not easily accessible
