Job summary

The Bays Aged Care in Hastings, part of the Apollo Care Alliance, is seeking a compassionate Lifestyle Assistant on a casual basis. You will design and deliver meaningful activities, tailoring programs to residents' interests and care plans while fostering a warm, resident-centred environment.

You will work with the Lifestyle Team and care staff to support holistic well-being, maintain accurate care records, and ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Lifestyle Assistant and/or Aged Care.
• Certificate III or IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or Diversional Therapy qualification.
• Certificate III in Aged Care (highly desirable).
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Design and implement individual and group leisure activities that cater to residents' needs, abilities, and interests.
• Develop and maintain personalized lifestyle care plans.
• Engage with residents and their families to create a sense of belonging and inclusion.
• Collaborate with the Lifestyle Team and care staff to support the holistic well-being of residents.
• Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Maintain secure and accurate care records.

The Role

• Minimum of 2 year of experience as a Lifestyle Assistant and/or Aged Care -desirable
• Certificate III or IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or Diversional Therapy Qualification - desirable
• Certificate III in Aged Care (highly desirable)
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Currently hold an NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain)
