Job summary

Palm Lake Group in Brisbane is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lifestyle Assistant to join their team on a part-time permanent basis. You will work closely with the Clinical Manager and Lifestyle Team Leader to create activities that enhance the lives of residents, promoting dignity, independence, and overall well-being.

This role requires prior experience, relevant certificates, and strong interpersonal skills. With a supportive culture and opportunities for growth, this is a chance to truly make a difference in a vibrant community.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Must possess a current National Police Check.
• Demonstrated understanding of the AN-ACC framework.

• Deliver a range of activities to enrich residents' lives.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Manager and Lifestyle Team Leader.
• Promote dignity, independence, and quality of life for residents.

Position Details

Palm Lake Care Bethania is seeking a Lifestyle Assistant to join our team on a Part Time permanent basis.

Shifts available:

• Monday 08:30-16:00
• Tuesday 09:00-16:00
• Wednesday 09:00-16:00
• Thursday 09:00-16:00
• Friday 08:30-16:00

In this role, you'll work closely with the Clinical Manager and Lifestyle Team Leader to deliver a diverse range of individual and group activities that enrich the lives of our residents. You'll be part of a collaborative and supportive team, focused on continual improvement and resident wellbeing. Above all, your work will promote dignity, independence, and quality of life for those in our care.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support (or equivalent)
• A current National Police Check
• Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC framework
• Knowledge of Autumn Care (highly regarded but not essential)
• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (or working towards)
• Enthusiasm and creativity to enrich the lives of our residents
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassionate approach and empathy for older people and their families
