Job summary

Latrobe City Council is seeking a Live4Life Officer in Morwell to coordinate the Local Live4Life Latrobe City Partnership Group and support youth mental health initiatives in schools and the community.

You will build strong relationships with schools, community organisations and partner agencies, coordinating meetings and communications, and contributing to monitoring, reporting and program improvements. This is a part-time, fixed-term role until 31 December 2027.

Qualifications

• Degree, diploma and/or experience in health, mental health, community development, youth, education or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of Teen and Youth Mental Health First Aid programs in secondary schools and the community.

Live4Life Officer

Morwell, Victoria | Part Time - 16 Hours per week

Fixed Term until 31 December 2027 | Band 5: $42.12 - $48.42 per hour

We're looking for a Live4Life Officer to join our team. In this role, you'll coordinate and support the delivery of youth mental health initiatives, build strong partnerships across schools and community organisations, and help improve the health and wellbeing outcomes of young people across Latrobe City.

Key Selection Criteria

• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with and influence stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience developing and evaluating community projects related to social, health or wellbeing outcomes.
• Degree, diploma and/or experience in health, mental health, community development, youth, education or a related discipline.
• Proven ability to plan, prioritise and deliver projects on time and within budget.
