Job summary

Stone Freight Solutions in Sydney is seeking licensed Customs Brokers at junior or senior level for full‑time, temporary or contract roles across Banksmeadow, Moorebank, Mascot or Sydney CBD. Positions in other states are available.

You will handle import declarations, mentor staff, manage Ocean and Air clearances, apply Australian Customs rules, optimise duties, liaise with customers and carriers, and ensure timely compliance. Local experience and current licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Customs Broker Licence.
• 1-5 years' current Australian Customs Broker experience.
• 19.1 and 19.2 approved arrangement accreditation with DAFF.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Customs requirements and procedures.
• CW1 experience.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge and experience lodging a diverse range of commodities.
• Microsoft Excel and Outlook proficiency.
• Experience with BICON and COLS.
• Teamwork oriented and compliant with Quality Management System requirements.

Responsibilities

• Handle day to day lodgements of Import Declarations for a large variety of products and customers.
• Provide mentorship and support to compilers/classifiers.
• Managing customs clearance requirements for both Ocean and Air freight.
• Review and apply Australian Customs requirements.
• Manage complex Customs valuations and tariff classifications.
• Ensure import entries are accurate and compliant.
