Job summary

Motion is seeking an Electrical Technician to contribute to large-scale electrical engineering projects. You will construct and assemble electrical panels, troubleshoot motor control and PLC systems, and support new equipment installations.

Applicants should hold a Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Electrician) and be able to work unsupervised on industrial panels. NSW licence and safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Electrician) is required.
• Ability to read electrical schematic drawings and work from them.
• Basic to intermediate PLC and HMI software skills.
• Familiarity with sensors, signalling and PCB assembly.

Responsibilities

• Electrical panel construction and assembly.
• Troubleshooting motor control systems and industrial PLC control systems.
• Provide support for the installation of new electrical equipment.
• Ability to read and work from electrical schematic drawings.
• Produce electrical drawings on CAD.

• Holds a current NSW Electrical Licence
